Graduate & Life Sciences Education (GLSE) The Graduate & Life Sciences Education (GLSE) comprises graduate and undergraduate education in the Faculty of Medicine. This organization is a great resource for graduate students at the University of Toronto. GLSE provides informative events, workshops and collaborations for science students within the Faculty of Medicine. Their initiatives range from graduate mentorship programs to career networking and development counselling, to workshops on scientific writing. GLSE seeks to optimize the student experience at the Faculty of Medicine, and their programs are an invaluable tool that will no doubt contribute to the academic success of students in the Physiology department.
School of Continuing Studies The School of Continuing studies has 80 specialized degree programs in areas such as Business and Professional Studies, Creative Writing, Languages & Translation, Arts & Science, and English Language. Courses are offered both in-class and online; UofT alumni receive one course for free (see Alumni Benefits).
Academic Success Centre The academic success centre provides workshops, seminars, tips and mentors to help you improve the skills required to ensure your academic success. The academic success centre will enable you to learn time management, develop new study strategies and improve research writing and presentation skills.
10,000 PhDs Project The School of Graduate Studies performed an internet search of open-access sources, including university and company websites, to examine the current employment status of ~10,000 PhD students who graduated from the University of Toronto between 2000-2015. The information can be stratified by the division of study, gender and year of degree completion.
